Week 23 of 365 project!

This week I was in a baking mood! I had thought of making homemade cinnamon buns
and bought some yeast, but never got around to making them. I've been craving soft
pretzels for a while now so I made the dough one day while Kennedy was napping and
when she woke up we played with the dough together.
I used the recipe here- Soft pretzel recipe
Kennedy is also allergic to peanut butter so we recently purchased Sunflower butter.
It's so good, if you ever get the chance to try it definitely do.
I made some myself with roasted sunflower seeds from Trader Joe's, and with that
I made Kennedy some Sunflower butter cookies. Just like peanut butter cookies, but
with sunflower butter. I found the recipe here- Sunflower Butter Cookies
I put in 1/4 cup less sugar and you couldn't even tell.

Happy girl.

Making pretzels with Mama!

The finished product, here are the everything pretzel bites.

More clovers.

Homemade sunflower butter.

She loves sunflower butter :-)

Father's day breakfast, Daddy's first feta cheese omelette! He loved it ;-)

Mommy and Me mini session.

A couple weeks ago, after rescheduling due to bad weather, I finally got to meet
Jennifer and her little lady Lucy. Lucy was the most calm baby I think I have ever met,
total opposite of my little lady. We did the shoot at one of my favorite parks
Brookdale park, in Bloomfield. The park is huge and there is a playground and
walking paths, along with a rose garden and dog park.
Here are some of my favorite shots from Jennifer and Lucy's session.

Maya's First Birthday session!

Every once in a while a client comes along that knows exactly what they want, they
love photography and everything that goes into it. It's one thing I love about always
meeting new people and seeing what they will bring to the table.
Maya's Mom was no exception, she brought this pink dress that her father
had sent her from the Philippines. She knew what type of background she wanted
for the cake smash from looking at my website and even made
her own amazing cake.
Check out the final product, Enjoy!

Week 22 of the 365 Project!

Long walks and trips to the park, what more could a little girl ask for?
I love spending everyday with this little munchkin, teaching her and watching
her grow. She is definitely becoming a Mama's girl and I'm gonna take it while it lasts.
We made a special trip to Montclair this week on national doughnut day,
Kennedy was very happy with her free doughnut kabob from Montclair bread Company.
Hope you all had a great week too!

What's in the bag? More doughnuts?!

My greatest love.

Aunt Bonnie came over for a visit and brought bubbles.

I love you every step of the way.

Bubbles are always fun.

Crazy girl.

Today she loved the bottle of star shaped sprinkles.

365 project!

Days go by, then weeks and here I am playing catch up again with the 365 project.
I think it has to do with the warmer weather and spending more and more
time at the park. Kennedy now asks me every morning "park"so off we go.
My birthday landed on Memorial Day this year and we spent it at our friends house
with great food, friends, and Kennedy playing in the pool.
Then Tommy had vacation time and we had a great week with Kennedy together!

Pinterest is one of my obsessions, I could spend an endless amount of time on there...
I have found so many great recipes on pinterest and I'm always searching for more!

Enjoying the warm weather and the pool! This girl is such a water baby, last year she
wouldn't even put her feet in the pool, this years she's on her belly kicking and swimming.

Checking out the sting rays at the touch tank with Daddy.

Watching the peacock walk around the zoo.

Look at that big alligator!

Going on the merry go round with Daddy for the first time.
(Yes I did get teary eyed.)

Family shot before heading to the waterpark at Great Wolf lodge. This was our first family
trip overnight and Kennedy did amazing! Tommy and I were expecting to be driving home
at midnight, incase she couldn't sleep not in her crib, but she did it!
Mommy and Daddy on the other hand did not sleep so well...

Such a tiny girl in that bear chair!

Our favorite book :-)

She always has to dance, everywhere we go!
