Kole's Birthday Session!

Meet Kole, who is turning two on Valentine's Day!
It was only fitting to throw in some Valentine's pictures along
with his birthday session. It took a while to for Cole to warm up to
me taking his picture, but he did a great job and really loved
when I would show him a picture of himself. He had his
big sister there to help encourage him and mom was always close by.
Once we brought out the balloons for his birthday pictures he had a ball.
Happy 2nd birthday Kole!

Kennedy's Valentine's Mini Session

Oh what fun it is to have my very own personal model!
Kennedy is really getting the hang of this whole photo shoot thing.
I'm running some Valentine's mini sessions and tested out
my new backdrop with Kennedy of course!
I found a really cute skirt on sale at Old Navy and a cute tee shirt,
we used the shoes she already has and a little bow.
(That she surprisingly kept in.)

Kennedy's Birthday Breakfast

I want to make every birthday for Kennedy special, so after a lot of brainstorming
and thinking back to our Saturday morning breakfasts I decided that I was going
to start a birthday breakfast tradition. This year we went to

I brought my camera along with me and got some really great shots of Kennedy eating,
making a mess, and exploring. We're excited to take Daddy there this weekend!

Week Four of 365 Project.

Another crazy busy week that just seemed to fly by!
Filled with play dates, little gym, photo shoots and another birthday party!

Someone has had a bad case of diaper rash this week that just did not want to go away.
We tried everything, diaper free time and target brand desitin seemed to help and it's
finally almost all gone!

Daddy and Mommy made some homemade crayons this week!
Super easy just break crayons and put them in cupcake liners in the pan and
in the oven 375 for about 20 minutes. Cool and then put in the freezer overnight!

Someone decided to sleep in one day this week and I finally got some sleeping baby pictures!

Banana nut bread french toast, my new favorite breakfast! YUMM

Kennedy received her very first ribbon this week, courtesy of little gym.

Kennedy's last birthday celebration, I love to decorate can you tell?

Typical day, miss independent knows what she wants and won't settle for anything less.
Lord help me when she's a teenager, please!

Some exciting news!

This week I was lucky enough to work with Fox event planning and Floral design
taking pictures for their spread in 201 Bridal magazine.

Chrissy Fox picked a rustic chic themed bridal shower.
She left nothing undone, when I walked in I mentioned how this was
my dream bridal shower.

The desserts were done by Heavenly treats located in Glen Rock
and the food was done by Della Terra Catering & Events.

So for the big news!
JoAnne Chef and Owner of Della Terra Catering reached out to me
and asked me if I would be interested in doing some freelance work for
her and taking pictures of her amazing food at events!

I'm so excited and honored to be asked to do this.

Elliot's Newborn Session

Back in October I took Molly and Matt's maternity pictures, at that time they weren't
even sure what they were going to name their little guy. But these parents are now well
on their way to being pros. It took awhile to get Elliot to fall asleep, but then
he decided he didn't want to sleep anymore!
Later on after I got home I received an email from Molly telling me that Elliot fell asleep
5 minutes after we left and slept for 3 straight hours. At least Mom got a break,
we all know we need it the first two weeks!

The adorable cocoon was made by my friend Lauren over at
It worked so perfect for the session and go figure it was the
only time the little guy slept.

Week Three of 365 Project.

This week has been a crazy one to say the least. Kennedy's first birthday was
Tuesday so it was all about the "Birthday" this week.

Birthday cake time!

My favorite shot I got while Kennedy was opening her present, look at her little face!
Pure excitement and awe. She loved her Doc McStuffins Dr kit.

Kennedy's birthday is a great milestone for her and also myself. It's the day that I
became a mother. This year I put up balloons and I found this princess castle at
Christmas tree shops for only $14.99! She was more excited for the balloons, but our
cat loved it!

Helping Mama with breakfast, look at those cute pjs. I just love them.

When making breakfast the other day I just happened to turn the butter container upside
down and saw all the internet advertising on the bottom. I thought to myself in that moment
what a different world my daughter will grow up in. The internet world.

Breakfast, I love the black and white.

Getting ready for our Valentine's Day mini sessions!

Kennedy's First Birthday session!

Happy 1st Birthday to my baby girl!
Mama and Daddy love you so very much.
*mwah mwah*

Any shoot I do for Kennedy has to be special, different, unique, I
mean she's my daughter so I always try to do something different then
what I typically do with my clients.
Usually for first birthday's we do a cake smash, which I love!
They are some of my favorite sessions and always the most fun.
With Kennedy I wanted to do something different so I searched around
pinterest of course and came up with a doughnut smash!
It worked out great and she actually got into it more than the cupcake we
gave her on her actual birthday, so it worked out great.

She's also a winter baby so I wanted to do something winter/snow themed.
I found a cute shirt and pants outfit on which was teal with silver snowflakes.
I made a sparkly silver tutu to match and I worked with Lauren over at
who made this gorgeous hat for Kennedy that matched perfectly to her outfit and theme!

Kennedy is now a pro at getting her picture taken and once we had her all dressed
and put her down for the pictures she stayed right where Mama could take her
pictures. (She even kept the hat on!)
